"This shop rocks.

I had just moved to the area and found this shop online. After checking out several dress shops, I was relieved to find Sara and Helen at pure english (along with a huge variety of dresses)! I described the theme/feel of the wedding and what I was looking for and we found my dress within the first few tries. These women are VERY good at helping customers find what they know (and perhaps do not quite know) they are searching for.

The decor of the shop is idyllic when it comes to wedding dress shopping. The design is industrial yet very elegant and sophisticated. The changing rooms are spacious and truly make you feel like you are a special bride trying on special dresses. Their location is great and there is always someone there when I have a question or need to stop by.

Since ordering my dress, I have ordered my bridesmaids dresses through them as well as my bridal shoes. The staff is ridiculously helpful, resourceful and fun. They always help me when I have a wedding question (i.e. vendors, etiquette, etc.) and I always feel like I just "hung out with the girls" when I leave.

I highly recommend pure english to anyone searching for a dress in the Hampton Roads area!"
